This one is directed towards erica who i know has some interest in the ubers metagame, what is your thoughts on the idea of primal pokemon and their impact on the meta? I personally think they have a positive influence towards the metagame, while some argue for Pdon being over centralizing, i think its just fine. It warrants more offensive teams, which carry several ways to deal with it now. I feel that this creates a more aggressive and faster metagame where thinking about every move like its your last chance is a good thing, it makes players think and elevates the mind games, instead of having them click a move over and over as some people argue primals do. This also really makes stall also consider every move, which is good, when a player goes for a more extreme play style when compared to balance, and they should be forced to consider every move they make. They also lack recovery which is HUGE. Going to OU and comparing Lando-T to Pdon, they both are extremely good blanket checks to many threats, but unlike landorus, it has to invest more into completely checking / "countering" one threat, and lets whatever else its supposed to check get around it. If it lacks Dragon Tail, salamence can set up on it easily. if it lacks T-Wave or Roar, Xerneas just needs the chip damage off on it, if it lacks lava plume, flying types can come like yletal and start spamming powerful moves. Im sorry if it this is extremely long but i just wanted ur opinion and to relieve some stress My personal opinion on primals is a bit influenced by my outside perspective, but I frown upon Groudon. From what I heard Primal Groudon is required in ubers rather than optional, otherwise the team is subpar. This concerns me. It may have no merit and I admit to not having looked at anything involving SPL to confirm this, but I heard a rumor that Groudon and Salamence kept Ubers from being in the SPL. |

I mean iirc LC wasn't present in SPL last year, maybe they just simply swapped the tiers out? They could of easily introduced Ubers into SPL but they already had so many tiers, including IIRC all the old gen OUs already in SPL, it would cause budget issues for the captains. I've also seen some really good players bring out great teams that don't rely on Pdon but i see where you are coming from. |

Honestly, i don't think i could choose, without knowing the people in real life. As for the second question, I honestly don't know, personally i feel that i can make friends relatively fast, so if i see someone i want to be friends with, ill jump at the opportunity. Currently, theres not a lot of people who i want to be friends with, who i'm not already friends with, though for the sake of naming someone, id say Guard FieryNight, since i don't know him that well, and like me he's a programmer. @all Staff Why is sparkychild a furry?
