Origin Super Staff Bros. Melee
Hey everyone and welcome to our OSSB tournament!
This is the second installment of our inauguration for our relatively new tier, Origin Super Staff Bros.
In the previous teambuilding event we had users gauge which Pokemon formed the best synergy with other Pokemon.
Now it's time to put that kind of forethought into practical use in this tournament!
How is this tournament going down?
The match-ups will be determined through challonge, which I will post here after sign-ups.
It will be up to the participants to find their opponents and finish their battles in a timely manner.
Battles will be played in the Origin Super Staff Bros. format and the replays will be submitted here.
This event will more than likely span multiple days and if we're unlucky enough multiple weeks.
It will hinge heavily on activity, so if you can't come on often, you might find yourself disqualified.
I will perform routine checks for inactivity and disqualify players accordingly or through a coin toss.
Report inactive opponents here. It is to your advantage to do this since it will give me a measure of how active you are.
When will the tournament start?
Sign-ups will end on Thursday, March 3 at 11:59 PM EST.
Players can do their OSSB battles as soon as the challonge brackets are published and distributed.
Why should I join this tournament?
Prizes for 1st include 45 Origin bucks AND your own custom OSSB Pokemon!
Prizes for 2nd include 20 Origin bucks and the shame of almost having a OSSB Pokemon.
How do I join?
Just simply express your wish to participate as a reply and include the name you normally use on Origin.
ex. "I want to join the tournament. Username: ArkenCiel" "In. ArkenCiel."
(Users with a OSSB 'mon cannot join)
