VALENTINE'S TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT
The tournament will take place in Origin Events on Saturday, February 13 at 6 pm EST.
It will be played in the Monotype tier and will require players to form teams of two in order to participate.
Both players in the same team will have to pick a Valentine Pokemon, a representative dual-typed Pokemon to use in both their teams.
This representative Pokemon's dual typing will also determine the two types that each player will use for the tournament.
Players who don't use their Valentine Pokemon or use the types of their Valentine Pokemon will be disqualified.
The brackets will be made by ArkenCiel using challonge and distributed to Origin when the event starts.
At the beginning of every match-up, Player 1 of both teams will battle in Monotype with their appropriate teams.
Player 2 of the losing team will then attempt to beat the opposing team by his or her self.
The team that KO's their opponent's player 2 will then move onto the next round.
Repeat above until finals; Player 1, even if he or she lost, can play again.
For clarifications sake, the battles will go as follows:
Match 1: Player [1] vs Player (1)
The winner moves onto the next match, which is the opponent's player 2. Let's say Player [1] won.
Match 2: Player [1] vs Player (2)
If Player [1] wins again, then the it's over, and Player [1]'s team faces the next team.
If Player (2) wins, then a third match will happen between the two team's Player 2s.
Match 3: Player (2) vs Player [2]
The winner's team moves onto the next round and repeats the process.
Prizes
200 Origin bucks to the winning team + a trophy TC + temporary userlist icons
80 bucks to the team that comes in second

Notes
Just copy the format of the application above and change the names accordingly.
Keep in mind that the player order will matter during the event because Player 1 will always play first; choose wisely.
Also remember that the Pokemon you choose must be on both teams, but they can be different sets.
The Valentine Pokemon must have two types types, but it's up to the players which type from their Pokemon they will use.
Both players in the same team obviously can't use the same type from their Valentine Pokemon.
Teams can use the same Valentine Pokemon as other teams, but unique Valentine Pokemon qualifies for bonus bucks.
You may change your Valentine Pokemon or partner by editing your post, but tag me in the post or else it won't count.
You may play or enter alone, but playing as both players is prohibited and result in a disqualification.
Wasn't mentioned yet, but we're doing it at the 13th just for convenience's sake.
