Hey guys! It's Ace and I'm bringing you my newest team, Balanced Fighting! I was talking about it in mono chat one day and I got the idea for a Chesnaught Gallade core and went from there. It's a pretty cool team and I hope ya'll enjoy.
Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Spiky Shield
- Leech Seed
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb
Chesnaught is the main defensive wall of the team with Leech Seed and Spiky Shield along with Leftovers and Drain Punch for pretty reliable recovery. It's able to tank hits against a good amount of Pokemon and is usually a pretty reliable switchin against most Physically biased attackers. While Chesnaught may seem a little bit weird at first glance I definitely think its something that is worth at least trying out since it has given me a decent success rate.
Cobalion @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 12 Atk / 32 Def / 4 SpD / 208 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Thunder Wave
Cobalion is a nice fast pivoter with Volt Switch coupling with the fact that it's able to set up rocks and Thunder Wave fast dangerous mons makes this a Pokemon to fear. Iron head is used as the standard stab along with Volt Switch as I said above being great for momentem.
Edit: Thx to chrono for cool evs
Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Icy Wind
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
Keldeo along with Mega Medicham form the main offensive/wall-breaking core of the team with Keldeo hitting big with Special hits while Medicham hits huge with Physical hits. Keldeo is easily the greatest option Fighting has for a special attacker and makes it a necessity which can be awesome against types like Flying and Steel which can both be difficult for Fighting.
Gallade @ Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Jolly Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Drain Punch/Knock off
- Wish
- Protect
Gallade is the special wall of the team forming with Chesnaught the Invicible pretty decent core. I decided to go with A Willo-Wish set that looked pretty nice so he could wish pass to teammates getting to low along with widdling down the other team. Drain Punch and Knock off are also both nice, Drain Punch for some extra recovery and Knock Off to rid your opponet of their item
Medicham-Mega @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt
- Bullet Punch
- Fake Out
As I said above Mega Medicham is the other main wall-breaker of the team being able to rip through teams with HJK and Zen Headbutt along with BP for faries like Mega Diancie and Fake Out for that extra damage right off the bat.
Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
Terrakion functions as the revenge killer of the team coming in to finish off things that are already widdled down or being there in the end to finish off teams with all widdled down Pokemon. Terrakion is also the main assurance against Mega Pinsir and Bug in general along with being a nice help against Flying Teams. Stone Edge and CC are the dual stab along with Iron Headfor extra fairy assurance and Earthquake.
Threatlist: Mega Gallade - If this things gets an SD up things will go south very quickly. There's honestly not that much that this team can then do against that boosted monster.
Fairy Teams - This is honestly a terrible matchup from the team preview for any Fighting team. Cobalion may be able to hold its own for a little bit but it can't do everything on it's own and eventually gets overwhelmed.
Slowbro - If you end up losing Chesnaught this thing can be a huge nuisance eating up hits slacking off t waving, scalding, burning, and its not easy to take down.
(Sorta drawing a blank rn, theres more tho, feel free to comment them so i can add them)
