only posting this to be first How about every week or every few days there is a smaller buck tours (maybe 35/15) held in lobby on a user voted tour and the First Second Third and Fourth placed people get points, and at the end of the month the top 4 or top 2 or whatever gets bucks based off of their points? Would give people a reason to participate in the tour and to stay on origin over a course of time, get bucks to the community and such, just an idea.

Origin laddering challenge. People get on an OLC alt and ladder on the origin ladder against each other for an hour, person with most points gets bucks. y/n

I would like to suggest the 2015 Origin Superlatives. Where users can nominate whoever they'd like in different categories, then gather the nominees and users will obviously vote for the superlatives. It's something done in high school a lot at the end of Senior year. It would be a fun way to have the entire community interact with each other. The winners from each category could get some kind of prize, like 5 bucks maybe or something similar.
Some example categories:
friendliest user staff member who makes the biggest impact on community best league best avatar best non-league room cutest "couple" users favorite admin best OU/Ubers/Lower tiers player most likely to be staff by the end of next year coolest room intro
Let me know what you think!

I like this idea we had something similar like this on Eos before. also I wouldn't mind donating some bucks as prizes.

Origin Should host its own even similar to Smog tour, where its a Bo3 (Best of 3) tournament that the winner of that Bo3 will move on and have another bo3 with another opponent, and we keep doing this till we get a winner, unlike regular smog tour, we dont have to do the Bo3's out of gen 4, 5, and oras OU, they can still have ORAS OU, but we can implement monotype and ORAS Ubers ( i just love ubers) and other tiers that the community loves so that its more original ( PUNS XD KEK DANK MEMES)

We should bring Master Of The Colors back from EOS it was fun. Plus it would be nice to have it back as an event to have besides random user hosted events and the botl and alliance cup.

I think we should host a Valentines Day event since it falls on the weekend. The 13th would be better since its saturday and some people might have plans for the 14th. There should be a partner tour, per usual, since it's typically a couple holiday. One partner should participate in a tournament and the other can participate in a large Uno game which will help push it because you know, not everyone is good at battling and will give a chance for more users to participate. Of course, the winners should split a large amount of bucks, maybe even a 2nd place prize. Could be fun.

That could be plausible, but given the choice, would people really reschedule their Valentine's plans to participate in a Pokemon sim's event? Those priorities might need to get checked out if that's being contemplated, lol, no offense to anyone that can relate to that, but yes, there will a partner tour! I will be writing it up later today or tomorrow. I was also planning on having a Valentine's avatar show-off event, with the best avatar appropriate for Valentine's, gets awarded, but since Valentine's isn't that huge an event AND it consumes bucks, I going to think of another side-event. The easiest cop-out I can think of is Ambush since Uno is somewhat limited in players. A RPS ladder climb under fresh alts may also be plausible.

I never said people would have to reschedule, it's just having it the day before would allowed people who might have plans to participate who would want to like the Christmas Eve event that was eventually just dropped because people wanted to join but were busy with family. Doing an art event strictly limits who can participate and could potentially be a disaster based on the maturity level of the user base. I am not sure how Uno restricts players but I guess I can see that. Mafia might even be an option since Main created a plug-in for it.

True enough, they would feel left out, but in my head, I was just thinking that they would think that it was worth it to spend time with their loved one rather than do some event. I was making fun of people who might actually contemplate about rescheduling plans though lol. Yeah, for the avatar side-event, I was going to pick the winner from the crowd. Whoever had the coolest one wins this many bucks, so if some guy wanted to put something dumb on, well, he just wasted 10 bucks for a fix and could possibly get in trouble, but mhm, I'm not going with that anymore for many reasons. As for Uno, yeah, what made me disregard it was when I was thinking of player limit, the potential length of each game, and how many of those I could hold. With something like Ambush or Mafia, I can involve many players at once, so those are looking like better options.

There is a Mafia plug-in, I am sure that Origin carries it, if not, it is as simple as going to Zarel's Git and pulling it. Ambush would be a good idea as well, I think it's just a matter of what users would like to play, in fact, both could even be done. Your avatar idea is actually not a terrible idea, in fact, it could work. For example, to promote the up and coming Staff Bro's tier, users could design an avatar based around their favorite staff member's signature Pokemon and the best one can get an honorary mon or just some bucks. But, making people pay for a fix wouldn't go over well and people probably would feel less inclined to participate if it will cost them money AND they have to do work.

Interesting idea for SSB, but that would definitely work better after the community receives some more exposure with the tier, something most should have very little to none for now. I think I will be leaving it up to the users who will be online AFTER the main tag-team event (which I'll submit by tomorrow, promise, lol) to decide via poll voting what they want as the side-event. This gives them an incentive to stay around/come early so they can contribute to what they want to do, whether it be Mafia, Ambush, RPS laddering, heck, maybe even Uno if that's what they want. They'll know what they're getting themselves into.

Yeah, that would be a great idea about the event, I hope it can generate some activity. I suppose we should stop spamming this thread about one event lol if you need any help regarding it, feel free to ask, I'd be glad to contribute. Thanks for responding to me and considering what I say.
